Using Acrobat
Some GenEdWeb courses deliver documents online using the Adobe Acrobat
reader. The Acrobat reader allows documents to be displayed on a screen
with their appearance exactly as created. Acrobat file names usually are
identified with the .pdf extension.
To view Acrobat (.pdf) files, you must have the free Acrobat
reader, available from Adobe:

Your version of the Acrobat reader must be 3.0 or above.
When you install the Acrobat reader, it should configure your copy of
Netscape or Internet Explorer to launch it automatically whenever you click on an Acrobat
file link. You can
test your setup by clicking here.
Your browser should launch the Acrobat reader, and you should
see a copy of the UMM Application for Admission form.
When you have an Acrobat document open in the Acrobat reader, you have
access
to a number of tools on the button bar, including a printer button and
zoom-in/zoom-out buttons.
If you have any problems, check the Adobe
"Customer First Support" pages.
